Indian Orthodox Network (ION) is the first of its kind of an online network of the Indian Orthodox Church members across the globe. ION seeks to deepen and enrich the faith of Indian Orthodox Christians around the world by employing and harnessing the power and reach of the cutting edge Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools. The activities would range from streaming audio programs and on-demand podcast to social networking sites and administration of other online mediums by featuring liturgical music from Indian Orthodox traditions, as well as prayers, readings, lectures, interviews and broadcasting Church News to its faithful.

Why This Mission?

Technological advances have dominated global developments the for almost past two decades which includes every aspect of our living from home to the workplace. Until recently, communication technology seemingly failed to deliver the goods it promised. Computers were meant to connect us and to make our life easier, although it rarely happened. A tool which meant to help us communicate more failed to the needful although more and more lives are getting hooked to it day after day. ION mission is a consolidated effort for the Holy Church to employ the fruits of new media for spiritual well being of everyone in a more meaningful way under professional supervisory and guidance of the ordained and lay leadership.

Indian Orthodox Network aims at breaking new ground by putting together some of the finest Indian Orthodox Clergy, Scholars and Professionals across the globe, able to present a complete picture of the work of the Indian Orthodox Community across the world.
